This Progesterone Cream is considered safe to use while pregnant or nursing, provided you discontinue use by 7 months gestation during pregnancy. You can start using it again after delivery if needed.

Women:

• If you are still menstruating it is suggested to find your starting day by counting to day 12 of your cycle (the day your period starts is day 1). Then use 1 pump daily 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off for 3-6 months.
• If you are menopausal or have had a hysterectomy, take one pump daily for 25 days, then stop for 3-5 days.
• For women who are not regularly having a period or have no period (but are not past menopause) use one pump a day for 45 days and then stop. Your period should start 1-2 days later. Then switch to the 2 weeks on 2 weeks off starting on day 12.
• If you are pregnant and your health care provider feels you need to use supplemental progesterone, it is suggested to use one pump a day every day until the 7th month. It is further suggested to start tapering off during month 6 (tapering is much more gentle to your body's hormones than the shock of simply stopping abruptly) so that you are completely off by month 7 to avoid going past your due date.

It may take 3-6 cycles to experience full benefits. This product should not be used in conjunction with synthetic or conjugated hormones.
