Doctor Was Amazed At Little Blood Loss! April 11, 2014
Reviewer: PSLM1273 from Colorado
I took this from about 34 weeks on for my sixth baby.Didn't shorten the duration of my pregnancy nor did it allow for advanced cervical progression before hard labor kicked in.I did notice a slight uptick in the strength of my BH contractions, but, without the benefit of extra cervical progression.I was induced and struggled to get a good contraction pattern going until it kicked in hard and heavy. But,I will be ordering it again for subsequent births, this being my sixth gift,it is normal to bleed heavy upon after delivery, but,in my case, the med team was stunned when they literally had to make up a number to put down for blood loss because I'd had such a scant amount that it was unmeasurable!Secondly, I kept noticing that our baby seemed to be gulping his colostrum.Didn't know what to think of that until, upon discharge, they weighed him and he had gained 4 oz since his birth only 24 hours earlier!Amazing!I can only surmise that my colostrum quality/quantity were increased due to the GBF!

Wouldn't be pregnant without it! April 7, 2014
Reviewer: Kelly from Scotch Plains, NJ United States
I've taken this product from 35 weeks through to delivery with both my children. My first child I labored the average length of time for a first time mom (14 hours). However once I got through the first 5 hours and was 100% effaced I dialated from 2cm to 10cm in only 3 hours! Unfortunately, that birth was concluded with an emergency c-section for various reasons. This time around I thought I should take the product again because I did dialate rather quickly the last time, so why mess with a good thing? This time it was 5 hours from first contraction to birth of my 9lb 2oz. son resulting in a very successful VBAC! Contractions were very light and manageable and I didn't even realize how far progressed I was until my water broke and I started pushing! Although I know there are many factors effecting birth, I would not go through one without this product.

Worked Well! September 23, 2013
Reviewer: Alyssa Hedrick from Medina, OH United States
I am more than impressed with this product. First dd, went 5 days past due with induction 1 cm, 50% effaced (using EPO & RRL), 2nd pregnancy, 2 days past due, and was 5.5 cm, 50% effaced before I went into ACTIVE labor! My labor was longer the second time, but I don't believe the GB had anything to do with that. My waters were very strong and couldn't break, and I have heard of other ladies using GB that had same thing. I did have a very speedy recovery, and this time we opted for a home birth (first had epidural) and I have to say I didn't have any pain I couldn't handle throughout the entire labor (26 hours). I would use this again. One thing to take note is that it does cause a lot of cramping and predromal labor. This freaked me out at 35 weeks and I stopped and resumed at 37. Also, I would NOT use Cohosh, it has infant cardiac arrest for a reputation even in small doses given during labor.

Love this Stuff September 7, 2013
Reviewer: Carrie Green from Hartsville, TN United States
I started taking this as recommended for my second pregnancy (First pregnancy was induced and epidural) I went a 1 1/2 weeks over my due date but was already dilated to 3 cm at my due date check up. My check up at 1 week overdue I was 4 cm (didnt experience any pain during this time except some braxton hicks) From the time I started having contractions (which I could still walk and talk, get my daughter off and  take shower and drive an hour on my knees to our hospital/midwife) Which  I was dilated to 8cm when they checked me, I could not believe it. (Yes I was still in pain though) till I gave birth naturally was a total  of 4 hours 13 mins start to finish! Will definitely use this again for my next pregnancy!

Eased the pain! September 3, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from OR United States
Used GBF for homebirth #4 from 35w, went into labor on my own (a first for me) @ 40w3d. As usual I was already 5-6cm & 75%. I eased into ctx's (new for me) & they NEVER got very intense- never felt the need to be alone, was chatty & laughing the entire time, the ctx's never felt very long, etc. Like usual, I was complete in 3-4 hours, but labored 10 more hrs. I seem to have "membranes of steel" (likely vit. C intake in pg) so with #3, when I broke my water he came in 2 pushes. Was my first to have mecionium in the waters, but light and diluted. Also, usually I don't bleed a single drop until I've expelled the placenta and this time I started right after baby came out. And not sure if it was related or not, but despite this being my healthiest pg, I ended up with POSTPARTUM eclampsia 5 days after birth (I am normaly low). So (compared to my previous births, all very similar) my GBF birth was less painful but my longest, light meconium, I had different bleeding, & PP eclampsia.
